Ken Yaxley provides us another
historical treasure in the history of Public Address. With pictures
and commentary from someone who was there, 83-year-old Yaxley has
certainly provided a historical treasure to posterity and has left
a legacy to be observed for generations to come. Featuring
microphones, amplifiers, speakers, and cat whiskers, this site also
has a easy sound switch which plays old-time radio music. Step into
this online museum and prepare to be amazed! |

David Lehman loves his Aunt
Ruth. Aunt Ruth provided him a running start into the genealogy of
his family, Lehman/Betts. Now David has created this incredibly
detailed site and seeks help from fellow family members and
genealogists to fill in more branches of this family tree. This
site is a fully function command center for genealogical research,
complete with an ahnentafel, news page, family events page, and
places to submit queries and network. |

Author Joel Goulet |
04/29/09 |
It is a well known cliche that
you can't tell a book by its cover. However, nothing could be
closer to the truth in describing the website of author Joel
Goulet. While still a sight for sore eyes (or of eye sores), it
showcases the prose of an amazingly talented author, and Joel is
generous enough to share both screenplays, novel excerpts, and an
award-winning short story. What Joel lacks in web design he
definitely makes up for in content, which is why I recommend you
stop by and read some of his work. |

Velociteen |
04/23/09 |
My first response upon viewing
Velociteen was that this was a stylish onling magazine with
a noble mission. Then I noticed the staff was mostly made up of
teenagers, and I was blown away with amazement! Velociteen
is a one-stop shop for teens looking for positive moral support.
With a mission "to reach out, support, and help teens world-wide to
improve the welfare of our generation," Velociteen should be
applying for a Nobel Peace Prize instead of a website award! Check
them out, patronize their advertisers, but above all, wish them
continued success. |

Hugs R Us |
01/11/09 |
In this website, you will find
out many things about mental health. Hugs R Us strives to give
accurate information on a wide variety of topics. They also try and
show that there is a lighter side to the problems discussed, and
that those of who live with such conditions for life are people
first, middle, and last. Mental illness is often all consuming,
taking up far more than a small portion of the lives of those
affected by it, but they are just like you — human and
people who care. |

Story of a Radio Dealer |
01/10/09 |
Ken Yaxley was introduced to
his father Herbert's radio business at the age of eight, and later
helped his mother watch the shop while his father was at war. Ken
developed a lifelong passion for the radio business, and has
created a five chapter site detailing the comings and goings of
radios and people to his father's shop over the years. This site is
a one-of-a-kind historical treasure and those who love history will
be greatful to Ken for this unique and exhaustive
preservation. |
