Randal's Policies at the Sanctuary
International Ethics Program
I am fully intent on following both copyright and privacy laws in spirit as well as in letter.

C.O.P.P.A., or Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, was made effective April 21, 2000 in a law passed by the Congress of the United States. Due to this law, I ask that no one under the age of 13 submit personal information to my site (i.e. don't apply for awards or sign the guestbook, etc.) or my e-mail address. Children under the age of 13 are not eligible to participate in my awards program.

No personal information obtained through this site, whether it be a guestbook entry or award application, will be put to commercial use or given to a third party. Information given through the site's guestbooks will be visible to the public unless the private message box is checked. Messages that are sent as private will remain private. This site uses eXTReMe Tracking, Motigo Webstats, and StatCounter.Com to track visitors. The information is anonymous and all information collected is used only to improve this site for its audience. Their privacy policies are consistent with the policies of this site and are detailed on their respective policy pages, accessible by clicking their linked names.

All writing and graphics on my site are either owned by me under my copyright or appropriately credited and used according to copyright law and the permissions of the copyright holders.

If you have questions about any of my policies, please leave me a private message in my guestbook, and I will be happy to answer any questions you might have.

Regarding Graphics Pertaining to "The Site Fights"

I have written permission to post, resize, and/or scale any graphics pertaining to "The Site Fights" competition. The contents of the e-mail conversation are as follows; original e-mail can be forwarded on request.

Maeve,

When we get different graphics on our guestbooks or team banners, awards or gifts or what not, we can put them on our sites and spirit pages right? Can we resize or scale graphics as needed? Some people view this as copyright infringement, but I'm not sure how it works with as freely giving as we are of graphics here at TSF. :)

Thanks,

Randal

Hello Randal,

Of course can you add those graphics to your spirit page. I would highly recommend doing that. As far as I know DQueen DErin is giving extra points for spirit pages. And as for resizing...I am sure no one won't mind that as long as the graphic can be recognized as what it is meant to be. ;O) We here at DRealm of Spirit have no objections. In case you did not know... I am a DLady here at DRealm.

I hope I was able to help.

Love & Merry Magic,

Maeve
